Grooming That Starts With Experience—and Was Made for Us.

I'm a child of the Afro, Jheri curl, fade, goatee, and beard eras. I've lived through the evolution of men's grooming firsthand—and grooming has always been part of my routine.

Growing up, my mother kept things simple: aloe, cocoa butter, and, sadly, Vaseline were staples in our daily skincare routine. As I got older, that routine evolved. I became intentional about taking care of my skin, maintaining my goatee—and sometimes a beard—and keeping my appearance clean, healthy, and balanced.

I've also been shaving my head bald since I was 21. For me, grooming has always been about more than simply looking neat. It's about maintaining that bald, masculine, confident vibe and taking pride in how I present myself. And, as I've been told more times than I can count, it certainly doesn't hurt when people assume you're decades younger than you actually are.

There was a time when many men considered skincare and grooming a basic necessity rather than something worth investing in. Today, that mindset has changed.

Men are paying more attention to skincare, beard care, hair care, hydration, grooming, and healthy-looking skin. We want to look good, feel good, and take better care of ourselves. And yes, we're also interested in pushing back against the visible signs of aging while maintaining a well-groomed, confident appearance.

But I wasn't always satisfied with what I found on the market—especially when it came to products that worked well for my skin and beard.

So I decided to create my own.

MOOR HOUSE Grooming For Men was created with Black men and our unique grooming needs in mind—from balanced and oily skin to dry skin, and from thick, coarse, and curly beards to every beard type in between.

Our products are designed to support a simple, effective grooming routine focused on healthy-looking skin, well-maintained beards, hydration, and everyday confidence.

While MOOR HOUSE Grooming For Men was inspired by my own experience and created with us in mind, good skincare and beard care are universal. Our products are beneficial for all skin types and beard types.

Because at the end of the day, grooming isn't about trying to become someone else.

It's about taking care of what you have, looking your best, and putting your best face forward.
